FIVE TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO STUDENTS TOP THE CARIBBEAN IN THE CAPE EXAMINATIONS

The Honourable Anthony Garcia, Minister of Education is extending congratulations to five Trinidad and Tobago students who topped the Caribbean in this year’s CAPE examinations in five subject areas. The students were honoured at a ceremony hosted by the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) on Wednesday 30th November, 2016 in Barbados.

The students are Raquel Le Blanc of St. Joseph Convent, Port of Spain (Most Outstanding Candidate in Business Studies); Shanahan Mohamed of ASJA Girls San Fernando (Most Outstanding Candidate on Environmental Science); Saajida Baksh of Naparima Girls High School (Most Outstanding Candidate in Humanities sponsored by Hodder Education); IIisha Manerikar of Naparima Girls High School (Most Outstanding Candidate in Language Studies) and Joshua Ramkissoon of Hillview College (Most Outstanding Candidate in Mathematics).
